How it works

The OxiArmor treatment is an electrostatic trap for microbes and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at a molecular level, destroying them through photocatalytic oxidation.

  • The photocatalyst is two mineral semi-conductors: zinc and titanium dioxide.
  • Light and water vapor turn the titanium dioxide photocatalyst into killing agents.
  • Killing agents damage critical molecular structures of the microorganism, resulting in death of the microorganism.

How it is applied

Our highly trained service technicians will apply a thin, transparent layer of the OxiArmor treatment to surfaces inside your facility that can harbor harmful microbes. It is an electrostatic trap for microbes and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) at a molecular level, completing their destruction through photocatalytic oxidation. The positive charge of the antimicrobial coating attracts, traps, and then oxidizes the negatively charged virus, bacteria, mold, fungi, spores and VOCs on the treated surface.
